About NADDC Nigeria
National Automotive Design and Development Council • Act No. 6 of 30th May 2014
The National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) was formally established by Act No. 6 of May 30, 2014 from the strategic merger of the National Automotive Council (NAC), created in 1993, and the Centre for Automotive Design and Development (CADD), established in 1992. As a statutory parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, NADDC is the apex federal regulator and catalyst driving automotive manufacturing, local value addition, clean mobility, and quality standards across Nigeria.
